          The front showed a portrait of King Rama VIII on the left, the Garuda at the middle top , and the Ayarapot (three headed elephant) at the right bottom corner. The picture of Phra Pratom Chedi and the indicated denomination are on the middle of note. On the back was a picture of the Royal Anantasamakom Throne Hall.

          Unfortunately, 5 Baht banknote 7th Series, type 1 were not issued into circulation because of the lack of paper, the government considered to reduce the size of notes. Then the next type of 5 Baht banknote was launch in the same design with a smaller size at 6.5 x 11.5 centimeters.
