With the intention of glorifying Thai monarchs in history who have been revered and honored with the title The Great, the Bank of Thailand had engravings of monuments created to extol those monarchs who were presented on all banknotes in The Great Series.
The monuments dedicated to King Rama V the Great, King Taksin the Great and King Naresuan the Great were featured on the back of banknotes of 10 Baht, 20 Baht and 100 Baht denominations respectively. |
