10th Series Thai banknotes
100 Baht banknotes, the only one type of banknote of 10th Series, due to 100 Baht banknotes, of 9th Series that issued from 1947-1957, printed only in red, were heavily counterfeited, so the Ministry of Finance decided to issue a new series of multi colored 100 Baht with an intaglio printed portrait in dark blue and embeded with security thread printed with microlettering Thailand at intervals as to make counterfeiting more difficult.
